If you found your question still isn’t answered or you are still experiencing difficulties, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Normally within 24 hours.
Q: I used to have all the videos on my device before the update, why am I being told to download them again?
A: With the new video-on-demand system you can choose which videos you download and which you do not. You can also delete videos once you have
watched them.
If you navigate to the video section and then click on a video the app will contact the server and begin to download it. You can also queue up
multiple videos to download to save you time. You will need to have a wifi connection and you will need to leave the app open whilst they download.
Once you have done this once you will never have to do it again, unless you delete them.
Q: Why is my app displaying in German when before updating the app it was in English?
A: The app uses your iPhone region and language settings to decide whether to display English or German but will default to German language for
users set up for German. If you would prefer to see English language then you can change your region and language under Settings > General >
Internationalisation
For best results you'll need to set both the language to English and your region to UK or US.
Q: I have started installing the App and it seems to have stalled?
A: As the app is relatively large at 100MB it can take a while to download, usually around 10 mins on a reasonable broadband connection but can
take up to 30 minutes. If you wait, you should hopefully see the blue bar slowly progress.
Alternatively, try opening iTunes on your computer, and make sure you are logged in to the same iTunes account that you bought the app. The app
should begin downloading automatically. Once it has you can sync your device to install.
Q: I have purchased Jamie Oliver's 20 Minute Meals and it does not Sync onto my device?
A: Plug your device into your computer and open iTunes you should see your device appear on the left pane of iTunes under 'devices'. Click on
the name of your device and then in the main panel of iTunes you should see a picture of your device and a series of tabs above it. Click on the tab
labelled 'Applications'. Make sure the 'Sync applications' checkbox is ticked as well as the specific checkbox for Jamie's 20 Minute Meals which you
should see in the list of applications on the left-hand side of the main panel.
Also, make sure the software version of your device is at least 3.1.2 under the summary tab of your device as this application makes use of
features not found in previous versions.
Another reason could be that your iPhone or iPod Touch does not have enough spare capacity. Try removing some Apps or Video that you no longer
use to free up more capacity on your device. You can see how much capacity your device has on iTunes by selecting the devices option from the left menu.
You can also delete any files that you no longer need.
Q: How do I delete a recipe from the shopping list?
A: To delete a recipe, from the shopping list screen, press the wastebasket button and then tap the red circle next to the recipe name to
select it. Once selected, press 'delete selected' to remove the recipe from your shopping list. To simplify the shopping list, recipe items can only be
deleted in their recipe groups.
Items that you add yourself or that you add from the essentials section can be selected and removed individually.
