Zolmo are building a team of carefully selected individuals to take our flagship consumer property to the next level. The role of Software Architect / Lead Developer is a key role and reports directly to the CEO. In addition to embodying our values of craftsmanship, boldness, curiosity and passion, the successful candidate will have a proven track-record in building and managing industry-leading development teams as well as architecting and developing highly-trafficked consumer web applications.
The Software Architect / Lead Developer will be tasked with creating the backend and content management system for a multi-platform, consumer mobile product. The architecture should focus on reuse, maintainability, reliability, scalability and security and enable the rapid on-boarding of new platforms and localisations. The Software Architect / Lead Developer’s team will also be responsible for designing, maintaining the various development and production environments. The infrastructure should be automated and fault-tolerant, enabling rapid provisioning, configuration and deployment of new environments. The candidate should also be familiar with web-based technologies in order to facilitate the creation of effective web-based administration tools for the content team.
